Rainbow at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center

The countdown has begun, since the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center will "take wings" again on 5th March. At the TRAVEL exhibition, we can fly around the world in a day for the 33rd time. Between 5th and 7th March, those wishing to relax have the option to select from the cream of travel offers. This time, for three days, we offer seven exhibitions on 25 thousand square metres, with almost one thousand exhibitors, along with a wide selection of ancillary programmes. Real festive feeling is awaiting the public.

Gabor Kostyál has won the final of Bocuse d'Or Selection Hungary 2010

Kostyál Gabor, the chef of Hotel Helikon Keszthely has won the final of the Bocuse d'Or Selection of Hungary 2010. The 36-year-old chef will represent the Hungarian cook-society at the world's number one high-ranking gastronomy competition in June in Geneva.

Paul BOCUSE and Gabriel PAILLASSON on Foodapest and UKBA

The Hungarian final of Bocuse d'Or was honored by the visit of the initiating father and still active Paul Bocuse as well. After the competition the old master was handed over the prize in person and attended a press conference organized in honour of him and Gabriel Paillasson, the world-famous French confectioner and the founder of the Confectioners' World Cup.
